Barry DavisonR.M.T. · Certified Rolfer
Born in Vancouver in 1955 and raised in Victoria, BC, Barry graduated from the Canadian College of Massage in 1981 and completed his Rolfing training within five years. He went on to advanced study with both the Rolf Institute and the Guild for Structural Integration.
From 1992 to 2002 he completed the decade-long Bodynamics Denmark training in psychological function and shock trauma — depth that informs the care he brings to every person on his table. With 25+ years of client practice, his work supports each individual's own goals: freedom from pain, better performance, and a greater fullness of health and well-being.
Rolfing is hands-on bodywork that releases long-held tension in the connective tissue and reorganizes the body in relation to gravity. The result is a structure that stands, moves, and rests with more ease — often relieving pain that other approaches haven't resolved.
Ease chronic strain in the lower back, neck, shoulders, hips, and knees by working with the tissue that holds it.
Improve posture, balance, and freedom of movement so daily life and athletic effort feel lighter.
As the body aligns and integrates as a whole, many people feel renewed energy and ease.
“My work supports clients in charting and achieving transformational goals of greater freedom from pain, better performance, and enhanced vitality.” — Barry Davison

An introduction — experience the work and decide whether to continue with the full series.
The Ten-Series. The first seven sessions build layer by layer through the connective tissue; the final three organize, integrate, and align the whole body — for better balance, freedom of movement, and energy.
After the Ten-Series and a few months of integration — reinforce your gains and focus on any areas you'd like to revisit.
